im get a baby leo and i want to make the cage half tile and the other half a thin layer of sand butdo i want to make the tiles permant or should i leave them alone so i can take them out.

If the tile is not permanent than it makes it easier to clean. You can take it out and wash it off ehn needed. But I honestly do bot recommend using the sand. If you're really stuck on using it, then wait until you baby is full grown. When used responsibly the sand won't be as dangerous to an adult, but it is always a threat to a baby! BTW congrats on your new baby leo!
