My pacman frog for about a month now has pbviously been brumating. His eyes are closed most of the time, and he's got the skin layer all around him. I disconnected his UTH, as its not ideal for him. This will be his first winter.
I also have some questions. Do all Pacman frogs brumate at this time? If not, will he decide to do this every year and how do they decide if they need to brumate? Should I still be offering him food, even though he refuses to eat? He's the size of my fist and is extremely tame, especially since he's a horned frog. He's never even tried to bite me and will tolerate me taking him out to look him over. I'm not too worried about him losing weight, but I would like to make sure that if he is hungry, that there is a supply of food on hand.
