Insane frog

Curtisr_25 Dec 22, 2004 04:12 PM

I have a pac man and whenever I look in the tank or attempt to change the water dish he goes absolutely nuts. I had to change the substrate today and he lost it, I thought he was gonna die, he jumps into walls and goes insane. He eats normal and seems to be ok, but he is crazy when I get close to him. I dont know if there is anything that I can do but just thought i would ask. Also how often should the frog defecate? thanks alot.

Every frog is different. Some are calm around people and some freak out. Sooner some get used to you and some never calm down.

Just give him a place to hide or enough substrate to bury himself. I imagine that if the frog feels he has an escape route he'll be less insecure. You'd probably be freaking out if a giant put his face in your window too.
