Last night I noticed he was out, and I even saw him lunge into the bowl his crickets are in, but there was only two in there, so he missed and got a little discouraged. I filled the bowl up with fresh crix, 8 of them, and I came down at around 10, and he was out sitting alert by his bowl, so I left him alone and went back up. At about 10:30 he was under his warm hide, so I took a peek and there was only 6 left! Not quite the 8 or 9 he was pounding down each day two weeks ago, but he's getting back into the groove. I think the wierd weather is throwing him into partial brumation or something. I only have a few crickets tonight, so I'll put them in, and then maybe tomorrow we'll be able to get some more. Right now there's a temporary ice storm here in upstate new york.

It's good that your little fellow is eating.

If you've ever seen the movie The Day After Tomorrow, I think you'd be scared of that ice storm. I've seen it and thinking about actually happening is scary.

Also it could throw him into partial brumation.

On another forum I go to, people from florida were saying that since the Hurricanes hit, that their bearded dragons have been breeding at unusual times this year. Not during breeding season but a long time after breeding season is over. So the weather can affect your animals in some way/shape/form.
