Hello from Denmark
Sad to say I lost my Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis earlier today.
She was on her way to giving birth when she became very ill. This thing started yesterday when she startet to "push". In the beginning this looked very fine and I was sure everything was going well when I went to work. When I came home things had however chanced dramaticly. She was now in rarther a lot of pain and even if she "pussed" nothing hapended. Talking to a vet I was recomended to give her a long warm shover and give her "oil" in her mouth and cloaca. This went well but she wasn't much better - she died a few hours later. After her death I opened her and found 8 fully grown young - dead!
What went wrong?
Antbody that has any ideas?
The female was probaly 4 years old.
