Quick question on shedding

Is it normal for a non-juvenile bp to go through 2 sheds in less than a month? Since I got mine 2 years ago, he's been pretty regular about shedding every 6-8 weeks. Just don't know if I should be concerned, or if maybe he's just going through a growth spurt or something.
