Hip Harness!

DanielP Dec 22, 2004 10:13 PM

Hey Alika, after I saw Xander's pics wearing that hip harness, I thought what a good idea, even though I don't like to use any kind of harness or leash on my igs. But I thought that the kind you've been using on Xander is ok, so I decided to try it, and my igs didn't even seem to notice they had it on!!! It is great! Thank you! It's summer down here in Brasil and the temperature stays between 95 to 100 F, and with the leash I can just put them outside to get sunlight without problems.
Thanks again!
Take care and Merry Christmas everybody!!!
Later,
Dan

Just passing on the good word! Someone told me about it six months ago, and now I tell everyone who talks about ig harnesses. I love mine. I'm glad you love yours! Slightly jealous that you can take your iggies out year round, though. We have snow on the ground here!

Yeah I know... I lived in Chicago from july 2000 till july 2001... Imagine me, a brazilian that since that had never seen snow before... I remember I was so lucky that Chicago had its worst winter on december 2001, and hey, I was there!!!!! So cold.. But I love the city though... Bad for the igs though... Right now it's 23:00 pm here in Brasil and the temperature is around 85 F, nice and warm. Ok ok, I'll stop it!! Lol
Well, that's it. Thanks again!! Just keep your ig warm and everything will be fine right??
Take care!

LOL! You can talk about the warm weather all you want... I don't mind Winters here are mild, and I'm glad we have them. Dramatic season changes are something I've always had in my life, and I'm not sure what I'd do without them. I know you guys have seasons down there, too, but it just wouldn't be the same without the snow!

It's funny... you said "just keep him warm". We're going to my mom's for Christmas tomorrow and we're taking Xander cuz we don't have a sitter for him. (He does very well with traveling, and has never stressed about it much, or I'd find another way to do it) I had to ask first, though, ya know... couldn't just show up with a lizard (mom is squeamish about reptiles) When I asked her, she was like "but it's so cold up here!" And I said "It's not like we're gonna be keeping him outside! And I'm bringing his heat lamp and his heat emitter". ROFL! What did they think we did down here? It's not like it's much warmer
