Shipping crickets or silkworms, in this weather?

photojoe Dec 23, 2004 12:20 AM

Can you do it? Will you lose them all? (midwest areas to and from - teens mean temp lately)

Thanks

YOu shouldnt if they are packed well(crickets, not too sure about the silkworms). Overnight shipping, heat packs, and dry weather is key. The crickets will kind of go to sleep and look like they are dead if it is cold, but usually if shipped in an appropriate way and amount of time, will come to life after a couple hours of warmth.
