lavender black ratsnake pic . . .>

terryp May 15, 2003 06:12 PM

I have to post something to counter Rick Cunningham's pic posting a few days ago. I'm getting a pair of 02' lavender black rat snakes from Dwight Good shortly and/or his convenience. He sent me pics of the male and female after they had shed and fed a bunch of times and were well started. They are bigger now, but here's a pic of the male not too long after he hatched. I'm hoping for another pair from Dwight this season.

You're right Dre, I think they are very sweet. I really am looking forward to a second pair of this black rat snake morph.

NIce, Terry. DG has some amazing animals. His lav TX rats grow up to be fantastic. I hope these guys do also. They are certainly pretty now.

I agree Dwight's lavender albino Tx rat snakes turn out real screamers. I've been looking to get a pair from Dwight the last 2 years. I haven't been able to get a pair of lav Tx rat snakes, but I was able to get some nice Dwight Good stock the last 2 seasons. There's an IRBA show in Pomona, CA this weekend and my wife and I are planning to cruise it tomorrow. My wife already has 2 female high yellow leopard geckos being brought to the show that she's already bought. She's getting them from Steve Sykes of Gecko Etc. who has a booth there this weekend. I think that opens the door for me to do some serious snake browsing. HeHe.
