Cwd cage question

ta2edskin Dec 23, 2004 03:57 PM

I just bought a cwd, I am going to be making a cage that I have now into a cage for him.The cage now is melamine with con-tact paper on the walls,I am wondering if that would be fine to use or maybe use some epvc,or something close to it,just on the bottom and up the walls alittle or would it be better to do the whole inside like that? Plus does anyone know a good way to make a waterfall inside the cage?

CWD = Chinese Water Dragon?? I'll assume so.

Expanded PVC would probably work but it's not the most scratch resistant stuff you can use. On the other hand, fiberglass reinforced panel is probably overkill. Regardless, the contact paper is a poor choice for this species.

Whatever you do, cover all exposed surfaces except for the ceiling. You can even do that if you like. Especially since you want a waterfall.

I've got a link on how to do waterfalls for water dragons. I'll have to look it up.
