PHEve Dec 23, 2004 04:49 PM

This lovely little girl is a central american banded gecko.

Was supposed to come awhile ago, but due to cold weather got postponed.
Beings she arrived for Christmas, and I got her from a herp friend named Chris,

I thought it only right to name her.....................

**** CRINGLE ****

So meet pretty little Cringle, shes got a nice violet and greenish color on her head and a green spot on her face. And little white feet and a white tipped tail.
Very pretty girl. I'm glad she came to live with us,

Cringle, the Christmas Gecko Girl
Merry Christmas

I read the gecko forum on account of my C. variegatus and C. brevis, but I wonder if I should read the Leopard Gecko forum instead, seeing as how they're all eublepharines (or eublepharids, depending on the taxonomy you prefer). I don't see much Coleonyx traffic on either.

Me too.

I will rephrase:

I read the gecko forum because I keep Western Banded Geckos and Texas Banded Geckos (both close relatives of the Central American Banded Gecko), but I wonder if I should read the Leopard Gecko forum instead, seeing as how they're all in the same subfamily of geckos--those having eyelids (or the same family, depending on the classification system you prefer--some people consider the "eyelid geckos" to be their own distinct family). I don't see many messags about banded geckos on either forum.

That's a nice gecko. I had one several years ago but sold it to make room for my collareds.
