I have been told that different species of amphibians carry different symbiotic fauna on their skin, and that handling one species first, then a different species without hand washing can transfer the fauna, and cause health problems. I have yet to see any documented evidence of this, and wondered if anyone knows for sure one way or the other. I don't have a lot of experience with amphibians, so any info on this subject would be appreciated.
