Hello,

About 9 months ago I made a deal with someone about a pair of 100% het pied ball pythons.(I don't wanna write any names just yet, cos I don't wanna harm anybodies business) I was going to pay 1800$ in 6 equal payments and he was going to send me the animals after the last payment. It has been 3 months since I made the last payment but he didn't send me anything. He sometimes replies my e mails but always says that he is gonna send the animals next week. That next week never came.

I made the payments through paypal and I have his e-mails about the deal. Do I have any chance at all to get my money back?

I know I acted like a fool but I never had any problems like that before so I trusted the guy very easily.

Please let me know if anything comes to mind and thanks,

Yes, you have a good chance. Go to your Paypal accountt and enter a cliam on the transactions. It takes some time but they will do an investigation. if whomever has no proof of shipment or attempt to make shipment you have a case.

If the seller won't work it out with you, I would post this on the Fauna Classifieds BOI and maybe then you'll get it worked out. You still have rights here, it may just take some time , most people don't want to ruin their reputation and will work it out, as long as you have all the contact info on him/her then you will be refunded, the law is on your side. At this point I would definitely try getting the $$ back instead of the snakes , "hets" should only be bought from people you trust, at this point I doubt you trust this person very much, I know I wouldn't after all this has happened.... why protect someone who ripped you off let the forum know so we dont deal with the people

I agree. If someone stole money from me I'd post their name, address, phone number, favorite food, etc.

not allowed to post names of people who ripped you off....not allowed to attack people even though they may deserve it.....

........go to the BOI in fauna classifieds and you can look them up or post your deal.....

.....maybe too cold to ship........?...but they had 3 months....

call them on the phone.......talk nice and respectable...

if that doesn't work....drive to their home or get someone to do it for you and get the snakes.......

...anyways......

this is why I save the money then go pick up the animals in person...from people I know.......

And they already pulled that one on my friend Bob with 1.3 Het Piebalds. You should've seen his face when the eggs hatched...and no Pieds. We laughed for hours! Good times."

I agree , however Kingsnake policy does not allow you to use peoples names or company names in this manner, at least that is how I understand the policy , I may be wrong but I am confident that I am not! That is what the BOI on Fauna classifieds is for. Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles.
