Hi Jeff, yeah I have thought about that. That was why I was looking for info about TRBs before I bought her, wanted to be as sure as I could be that she was a Trinidad. As closely as they resemble CRBs it wouldn't be to hard to pass a CRB off as a Trinidad. From what I have found out and from looking at the two the TRBs markings on their backs show up better and their side marking are differnt as well as the stripes on their heads. The biggest difference between her and the Colombians I have seen is that she has a more creamy color less brown more buttery looking (pictures and discriptions I have found on TRBs show or mention this) She is more reserved or Shy then other rainbows I've been around but calm and quiet when handled.
She is captive bred from imported stock so far the only other one I've found is a WC female, they imported 11 but only one was male lol and don't know when they may get more. Trying to track down the person who bought the male. I'm in no real hurry to just buy any male I want to find one that I can be reasonably sure is a TRB though hopefully I'll find one before next fall when she'll be old enough to breed. Randy
Hey it is snowing in Houston!! Merry Christmas.............
