i see two scars on the lower jaw i wonder if its mouth was tied shut for a long period of time befor you got the animal

When you take this poor animal to the vet, have the vet check Vitamin A levels in the blood. A deficiency of Vit A, not only reduces fertility levels, but also causes swelling/infection of the gums. The teeth start to develop, but then begin to fall apart and out.
