Bearded Dragon Won't Eat Veggies

sparkles Dec 25, 2004 09:05 AM

I have a 9 month old beardie who doesn't eat much of his veggies in the morning. An example of what I offer is a dish of chopped escarole, endive, papaya, squash, Dragon bites, sprinkled with water. He'll wait until I get home and eat 20-30 medium crickets. How can I get him to eat more veggies?

Offer insects in the morning instead then fresh greens all day. If he is used to eating late in the day, he may find the salad more appealing. You can also try climping off the legs of the crickets and dropping them into the salad.

My two year old hasn't really eaten much greens in the last 4 months. Basically ever since I started feeding him Roaches. When eating crickets and greens he would go nuts with the greens. I have tried putting strawberries in his greens but he still doesn't like it.
