So I put Hades on sand yesterday. He has this staircase thing in his tank. Well today he decided to dig under it and wedge himself in there real good.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw he wasn't in his tank. Then I lifted it up and saw him wedged in there. It took 5 minutes, my mom and myself to get him out of there.

I think he has to be mentally challenged (I still love him unconditionally though) he just doesn't think things through.

Just thought I'd share with you all. Maybe someone else will have a good laugh about this.

dragons just don't "Get it" about some things...

here is my "Panic story"

Dex goes for a "walk" in my apt. normally this is just that...
walk around and find a dark place to take a nap.

this day he went into the bathroom and got behind the open door saw the light and opening between the door frame and door...

got his head thru and then found that the rest was not going so well so he sat there.

then I go looking and see him and try to get him out but now he is upset as he has chnaged positon so that he cant back out or go fwd.

so I'm going nuts thinking he's gonna break his neck.
I ready to bust the door off it's hinges and finally he turns sideways and I see how he did it and pop him back to the other side (head in back or door with body) and make toget him from the back side of that door before he gets stuck in it ....

so now doors must be shut before he gets near them !!!

thats just one example ... there are some others.
that was the only one that had the potentail of his getting hurt bad.

I never thought in a million years that Hades would have dug under that staircase and cram himself in there. Yet he did it. This staircase thing has a small inside so I figured getting him out might end up in getting him hurt or at least the climb inside would have. Luckily I got him out and he checks out ok. No visible injuries. May have a little slight blow to his pride but other than that he's ok.

Now that toy's out of his "home" and I have to go find a new one to put in there.

Also, lucky you got him out. I'd have had a heart attack if I saw my bearded like that.
