Hello, I'm looking into getting a good digital camera, but this will be my first so I desided to ask the experts on what would be the best for me. It doesnt have to be anything really fancy, but I would like for it to have quality close-ups and distance with different levels of light and be in the $200-$250 price range. I know for more money I can get better quality, but I'm only going to be using it as a hobby/recreational. I've been looking at a Canon PowerShot A75, any opinions on this? I'm sorry if questions like this have been answered before, this is all new to me and since I'd be taking many pictures of reptiles I thought this was the best place to start out.
