Dehydration?

digiport Dec 26, 2004 10:17 AM

What are some easy to tell signs of dehydration? I mentioned to my brother that my leo had sort of a line of skin on one of his sides that looked like a line coming up off his body. Sort of loose skin pressed together into a line. It IS skin so I know nothing is growing out of him. Is this dehydration? If it isnt what can I look for to determine dehydration.

it's just like it cats.. gently pinch some skin on it's back together, if it sticks together and slowly goes back to normal then he/she is dehydrated, if it goes back in place quickly then it's hydrated. also look for dry skin and a thin tale. be sure to very gentile when LIGHTLY pinching the skin together
