Ok here is the story. I work at a vets office and one of the vets have experience working with reptiles. I thought one of my Iguans was pregnant so i brought her in. It turns out that she wasnt however. When he put her on her back she wasnt able to right her self up. Some of the symptoms are: she looks LARGE, bloating, she is eating great, deficating only when i soak her it seems. She still moves around a fair amount not much of a change from before. The vet told me that i should soak her to try and get her to pass stool. We think that she might have eaten some of the bedding (forest floor - Cypres Molch) The vet also said that her Calcium levels was high and he thinks that she might be producing eggs...
Background info
I got her as an adoption. Ive had her for about 4-5 months now. This is the first problem i have had with her and has been going on for 3 weeks now. She is housed in a freestanding dog cage with heating over head. She gets a wide variety of food. I put calcium on her food and also TRex vegitable enhancement on them each feeding. She lives with a male as well who is having no problems.
Thanks for the help
Joey
