Hi,

I was wondering what the easiest crosses are:

burmese x retic
burmese x rock
ball x blood
carpet x viridis

Please help me out,
Bloodsss

I would imagine the burm x rock would be the easiest as they are the most closely reated out of all of those.

I'm not sure I would totally agree with that. Chondros were re-assigned to the Morelia group in the early to mid 90's due to being too closely related to carpets. I would imagin, the chondro x carpet breeding would be fairly easy, since most are of similar size as adults and come from the same locations. If I'm correct, I thought that burms were from Asia and Rocks, of course, are from Africa. My chondro x carpet breeding trials are going better than expected so far and all I did was introduce them after a brief cool down. Let's just hope the male's persistance pays off.

There are Indian Rock pythons that some believe might have intergrade in the past with Burmese pythons in India but over time have seperated or evoled into two subspecies.
