An abscess in a snakes mouth is not normally treatable by a simple mouth rinse. It will normally require a systemic antibiotic to be given over a course of 30 plus days and if the abscess is impacted (formed harden puss pockets that will not disperse) the abscess will need to be lanced and debribed ( removal of hardened dying tissues). If the infection is left untreated the infection can spread to other areas and eventually kill the snake. If treated early it is not normally a big problem to take care of, and if it is a abscess tooth, the tooth will need to be removed during the lancing.
I hope this helps, a trip to your vet is really the only way to clear up this potentially serious problem.
Good Luck
