Hello, Well I think we might have the same problem as you are having.
Well we have a 2 year old mix breed female dragon, and we also have a 9 month old male dragon not mixed. Well the pic of your two are identical as ours the female is twice the size of the male. We are seeing as we first introduced them together that the male was the active one and attacking the female. Well now the roles reversed She is very aggresive showing head bobbing. Maybe a sign of breeding time we dont know. The male just responsed back with the head bobbing and arm wave for a long periods of time, now if we take the seperator from the big cage out, she goes right after him with mouth wide open and tries to bite his side, as soon as she stops of course the little guy he is tries to act tough and attacks her, were thinking it is a sign of mating possible but on the other hand she picks him up while biting so we doubt it. If anyone know about why they are doing this or not please let me know, But as for this acting well i do believe it is very similar as what we are seeing too.

Ok now for all the vets and pets store ideas, Seperate them, they can still see eachother but not pyhically touch eachother, Every now and then release the seperator and see what happens.

Another guy said two different tanks.

Another guy said let them do what they do and see what happens they will eventually be great friends. Hard to try dont want to see either of them hurt bad.

Some say the male is two small to be in a tank with the female that is so big. The female has had babies in the past so it may be difficult to introduce the new male.

Funny thing is this we have a uromastyx also and is about 4 inches long and about 4 months old if that, They beardies are so scared of it lol she can defend herself. anyways let me know if this helps out for anyone please thanks

and if anyone could help me out too that would be great

Wondering guy

Hey - If the female is twice the size of the male, and the male is only 9 months, dont introduce them. The female is not displaying mating behavior, she is just blatanly attacking the smaller male. Do not introduce them until the male is totally sexually mature, around 1 year (18 months ideal for both sex). You are putting your male at risk when putting them together. Keep them seperate for the time being.

And for the one that started the post, same to you, and also - that male doesnt look too old, I wouldnt even introduce them yet, let alone try to breed. Too risky in my opinion.

read the whole thread man..........i stated they are both in separate tanks all i did was ppyut them together for like 3 to 5 minutes topps for those pics then they went back into their sepearate cages,......they cant even view each other cuz the lil males tank is under the big females tank...so NO they are not both together in the same tank......

Well, all it takes is a few minutes to attack one another. You are still taking a risk letting them be near each other even for photos.

NO WAY he wouldnt last a minute.....i just introduced them like on my bed and stuff and let them stare at each other at first she got fired up ass if she was gonna attack but i was carrying him so i started to pet her and she stopped from being fired up and calmed down i guess it was a jealousy thing and then i took the pics after that they may have seem a glimpse of each other as i take them out of their own tanks but her tanks is on a table on top of his so they dont see each other at all unless i take one of them out..........
