Maybe I'm just stupid.

I have two three and a half month old veildes. They were housed together until about a month ago. I noticed that one was outgrowing the other so I seperated them to monitor the smaller one. The smaller one has since grown.

Anyway, I was told when I got them that they were a male and a female. Maybe I'm just stupid but I can't tell which one is which. I was told that the male should have heel spurs and that sometimes the female will grow faster.

If anyone can help me out with suggestions or by posting a picture of a male with heel spurs, I would really appriciate it.

The guy that I got them from said that the smaller of the two is the male, but after reading his care sheet I question his opinion.

Nope; you're not stupid.

The male veiled has *REALLY* prominent heel spurs. We could see them on our first veiled when he was 4 days out of the shell and being sold at the reptile show in Ontario.

If they look the same, then chances are you have both of a single sex.
