update on beardy with megacolon.............

herpluver Dec 27, 2004 01:31 AM

well we sent the x-rays off to be read and that doc felt it was not the colon but more an enlarged stomic(sp? i can never spell that right) he also felt that she may have a foreign body stuck in there, althought i'm not sure that is a posibility, we don't allow things in there tanks that could not be digested. he also thinks she may have pnumonia, so we are putting her on "IM" baytrol for teh infection and Sub-q fluids becasue she seems dehydrated, i'm also giving her ensure to get a little weight on her.
