Whats a good way to transport Beardies.?

claymore Dec 27, 2004 05:26 PM

I am going to be bringing my 2 beardies & uro to the vet for a check up this week. So I was wondering what you guys use to transport your bearides in. BTW I live in Mass so it's cold as a you know what over here. Is there a way to keep them warm while transporting them? I as thinking of using those disposable hand warmers wrapped in a washcloth to keep them warm. Any ideas?

Put them in some kind of rubbermaid container with a lid and vent holes, it doesn't have to be too big. Warm up your car way ahead of time and crank that heater and they should be fine.

So you don't think I will need some sort of heat source for the ride to & from the vet? It's only 30 minutes round trip.

Not as long as you've got that heater cranked. They can drop into the 60's and be just fine.
