What morph would you consider this pair?

JeffG Dec 27, 2004 06:12 PM

Hey guys,

Ive got a pair of unrelated but similiarly patterned geckos that i think are pretty unusual looking. They both seem to exhibit some sort of flaming pattern, but have weird coloration. What would you call them?

The first two pics are of the male who i purchased form neoscales, but was produced by Anthony.

The last two pics are of the female who was produced and sold to me by De Vosjoli.

Sorry about the size on the last picture...

ummm, orange ( rust) on brown harlequin?
i have a female very similar to that, not quite full grown but it's definately a harlequin pattern because it's on the legs and sides as well as the back.

Except for the white spots on his side, he looks like what Anthony described as "marble", albeit muted. Anthony?

I remember that gecko as a baby. It's actually a tiger, but it's so dark now, that it makes the tiger pattern difficult to distinguish. It's definitely a different looking tiger, though. Something I'd try to breed some red into.

That one isn't related to the marble line I'm working with. The original female marble was only a subadult when that particular gecko hatched.

On a marble, the orange and dark patterns are wide and zig zag accross the dorsum and down onto the sides. Also, when they're colored up, the dark pattern on the marble will be very feint (as shown in the photo).
