Size of food for my BP???

Ses01 Dec 27, 2004 06:55 PM

Hi everyone. I've had my Bp for about 4 weeks now and she has eaten regularly and is doing great! I just bought, today actually, a digital gram scale to weigh her. She weighs 134 grams. I was told that I should be feeding her about 25% of her body weight. Is this correct? Please let me know. Also if I were to do that, how often should she eat? Right now I'm feeding her 3 fuzzies every 6 days and she seems happy, but I think she should be eating more. Please let me know. you're thoughts. Thanks a lot.

If she's eating three fuzzies, I'm assuming you're feeding mice. Try rats, mice SUCK for so many reasons.... at 134g, I would offer her a 25g rat fuzzy every 4-5 days, two if she'll take 'em. Good luck.

Thanks a lot. Tonight I jsut fed her a 26 gram mouse. She took right to it and seemed to like it. Just curious, why are rats better than mice? Thanks a lot for all the help!
