I take it you acquired a WC animal or so called captive hatched? If so, I recommend having a vet check it for parasites before subjecting it to "revitalization". With that said, to rehydrate any herp for the most part, I recommend using Pedialyte. Gatorade is high in sugar and though it does help, it does not provide the best solution. If you truly have an animal that is suffering from dehydration and nutrient loss, they undiluted Pedialyte can be administered orally via tube. Keep in mind, that you need to clear the airway so don't just shoot the fluid in its mouth. If the animal is eating on its own however, you should be able to provide a simple water bowl and offer whole food. That is better than any man-made solution. Good luck.

Exactly how is it administered? I assume some sort of syringe is needed?
This would be great to know and put away in the notes

Orally of course, but you have to be careful when you deliver it. You need to get an oral syringe made for this or cut a small piece of tubing long enough to go down the throat slightly. Be slow in deliver and massage the throat to prevent backflow.
However, as I said before, I strongly encourage seeing a vet before this and have them instruct you if you have questions.

Rich is right. Get it to a vet if WC. Otherwise, if the reptile is not severely distressed, a water bowl will do wonders to rehydrate it. If it is that far along, the stress of orally administering pedialyte can kill it.
Use a catheter - a long hollow tube - to administer your mix. I like to use a 14 on BPs. Make sure to put it in just enough to get the fluids in. On most adults, I don't go much past 4 inches.
Again, I'd go with Rich's recommendations.
