Since it is slowww - A new Borneo

5rings Dec 28, 2004 08:59 AM

I thought I'd post a pic because I am bored and things are pretty slow (I'm on vacation). This little girl is very hard to photograph. She has lots of contrast that seems to saturate the image rather than accurately portraiting the colors. Her lateral stripes also have a mirror image echo immediately beneath them. You can barely see the top in the picture. Anyway you get the idea.

Evidently she doesnt like having her pix taken, she bit me immediately following the first pix. I'd tell you where to get another one just like her but out of a clutch of 35 eggs she is the one and only surviver - weird huh?

Cheers!
Steve

She is absolutely gorgeous, makes you wonder what the other clutch mates of hers looked like, or would have looked like anyways.

Sweet borneo! Reminds me of the borneos that VPI has been hatching. I can't wait to see how all of those turn out as adults, yours included! Thanks for the photos

Very nice, hopefully she will keep that contrast and not get muddy over time. Very nice looking little one!
