Sara on travel

We brang Sara to my mother's house for Christmas.
Here she is, laying on her basking rock mouth wide open.
We can see her nails very well on this picture...

Do you cut off your collared's nails ?

I wouldn't trim them unless they were to impede their movement.
In the wild they are worn down by all the running they do. in captivity they tend to be more sedentary, so the nails get pretty long. I have never heard of an instance where they became a problem.

Seems that my gut fed crikets are very nutritious !

BTW, her size is not a real problem, we're still able to handle her Everybody seeing her tell that she have gained weight.

She's approx 2 years old and hope to be an egg layer soon
Males are very rare here in Quebec
