Well today I went to the same pet store and picked out my new BD. He is so cute!! He was the largest one out of the whole group and yesterday was the one I was eating some of the greens they had. I bought a 60 gallon tank (that I sectioned off) so I wont have to keep buying bigger tanks as he grows. I dont know if it is a male or female but he is just over 2 months old. I took some pics also so I could show you guys. I put him in his tank and put some greens in and gave him a couple crix which he gladly ate about 6 of them (I only put about that many in). I have a hide but didnt put it in because I didnt want him to miss any crickets so I took it out but I will put it back in tonight for him to sleep in. Right now he is basking and seems to like everything. Here are some pics (hopefully they will show up :/)

Hi. He is so cute!! I am thinking it's a he because I turned him over today and saw a little dip in the middle of what would be hemipenes but I dont know for sure. Im hoping it's a male because I've heard they make better pets but if it's a female that's awesome too!! I dont have a name yet because I dont know what sex it is but if anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome!! I like to name all my animals (except the dogs) after my fav tv shows/movies and my FAV movie of all time is Lord of the Rings haha. My birds were all named after Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the tortoises are all named after Charmed. I will take more pics once he gets all settled down. Thanks

take a pic of the cloaca with the tail curled back and i can try to sex it... it is definatly old enough to sex based off of the pic.
