well,
I can tell you they are great rat snakes.
They start out a little drab but as they mature they gain quite a bit of color while maintaining a wonderful metalic hue.
They do not get quite as large as the obsoletas.
They (in my experience) are great eaters, they can be a little nervous as hatchlings but tame as they grow to equal corns in temperament and have the same basic care requirements as corns or obsoletas.
I think I might have contributed to several people getting bairds rat snakes and I think they will all tell you they love these guys.
A few pics
I have posted these pics several times so I apologise to those who have seen them too many times but they are some of my favorites.

My Website
N. American Rat/Corn snake care sheet I wrote
Current snakes:
0.1 Licorice Stick Black Rat (Lola)
1.0 Black Rat (Frankie)
1.1 Texas Bairds (Jose and Rosa)
0.1 Blue Beauty (Brunhilde)
1.0 Green Tree Python (Claudius)... coming soon
I have 3 of them and there great. There are no 2 exactly alike in color. There temperment is better than most corns. There as easy to care for as corns and in my opinion nicer looking than most corn morphs.Juvies run between 35-100 bucks but some of the nicer ones Ive seen are 50 smackers or less.
