Wierd looking Nicaraguan female....

robertmcphee Dec 28, 2004 06:14 PM

This girl has a very "ghostish" fuzzy look. Does anyone have any ideas, I will try to get some better pics soon. She has the slightest hint of peach in various places, so I know she is not a type II--She should breed next year then we can begin the breeding trials.
Thanks
Bob

Has she alway's had the darker appearance, or was she lighter early on, and getting darker with age ? She's a "Beauty" I like her coloration, Good Luck, In your future Breeding project with her ! Thank's for sharing, & Take Care !

She has always had this wierd look, it just seems to be making another change. Time will tell. Here is a pic, although a bit fuzzy, of her about three months ago.

Thanks for the compliments
Bob

Bob, I have seen a couple that have come in with that look but yours is the nicest that I have seen. Best of luck with her. Chris Ginkel

Type III anery of some sort, or what. I would be curious to hear what you think of these anomalies. Here is a male with the same kind of think going on.

I have probably looked at hundreds of Nicaraguan boas and I am still amazed at every new one I see. I think you have an anerythristic that is different from the other two types in looks. Will it be compatable with the others? Time will tell. I am hoping that that you will be able to prove it out. I was so tempted to get one of those, but I only have time for a couple of projects. I think he is a great snake. Chris Ginkel

Im just not sure if I should breed my type II anery male with her next season or if I should breed something else with her.

Thanks
Bob
