Hey guys, need some help ASAP!

Something is seriously wrong with my male Cuban Tree Frog.

I took him out of his tank and noticed some white goo on his front arm. I figured it was skin so I pulled it (it was around his toes) And I noticed it was a white strand of GOO coming out of a HOLE in his arm!!! I don't know what this is! Is it a worm? Is it a muscle/tendon!? When I pulled it, some broke off into my fingers, it felt like slime. When he moved his arm it retreated back into the hole...

I cleaned him and as his colour started to lighten, I noticed the flesh around the hole is a dark brown, no blood though... There's a freaking hole in Beady's arm.

I put some first aid antibiotic ointment on it, removed his substrate and put paper towels in. There is nothing wrong with his mate. So, my question-

What is this white strand coming out of this hole in my frog's arm?

Hey, I am sorry no one has answered your post, I wish you would get a response, I have had this happen once with my Green Tree, and I never noticed again after seeing it for like 2 days, good luck.

It's okay, he's starting to heal up, I've been treating him with mercuroclear and antibiotic ointments.
