'03 California King with nice unusual pattern

jlassiter Dec 28, 2004 09:04 PM

I was just taking some pics and thought I would share this Caliking I produced last year. It is the product of an albino banded male
bred to a 50 / 50 chocolate female. All other sibs were banded and this one emerged to my surprise looking like this. I know it is nothing out of the ordinary but I held her back anyway.

What do you guys think of her?:

Here are a couple of male Thayeri I picked up from Chris' Colubrids. The leonis phase is showing some nice reduced black and the milksnake phase has some great deep red and orange colors.

Just abberant. Strange that it came out of a cluch from two banded individuals. Cal king patterns dont inherit mendelian like, but I still find that strange. Nice looking one though.

Yes, aberrant, I know.
