I know with kingsnakes you can't but can milksnakes be housed together?

I have housed milks together (as well as most kings) for over 10 years with only one incident. (The incident was with a wild caught speckled king housed with a much smaller female). This includes sinaloans, mexican, jalisco. honduran, black milks, new mexican, and nelsons.

These were ALL captive hatched and NOT put together until at least two years of age. All had been strictly fed a diet of rodents only. This is not to suggest you could not have a problem this is just my experiance.

Bob Applegate who wrote a book on milk snakes houses his together and has for over 35 years. I recall him saying he had a california king female that would always try to eat one paticular male but that was the only problem he had.

Also, I would like to say I have used most cage systems and for me I enjoy working with the double or triple compartment type that house pairs/trios. Don't want to be argumentative just wanted to share my experiance.

I failed to mention in the previous post to ALWAYS seperate pairs/trios when feeding. Double or multiple compartment cages make this quick and easy. Feel free to contact me for additionl info.
