I was away on the weekend and thought my pacman would do just fine. I made sure he had water, moisture, warmth (just a small overhead heating source), and I fed him just before I left. Today he looks fine except him chin looks puffy. I'm not sure if this is normal. My pacman has been steadily gaining weight since comming to this forum a while back. He was quite thin, but is now a very healthy size. His jaw is not sagging, it's just fat underneath. One side looked considerably larger, but after feeding him it seems to have gone down to the same size (probably just where he was sitting). Is this normal? If so any pictures to compare would be appreciated, it just looks like a Huge doulbe chin. I'm worried it could possible some sort of infection or parasite? He still has his appetite, and when he did eat nothing appeared abnormal inside his mouth, although we all know how quickly they open and shut and there is no way I'm risking my fingers to look inside.
I will have a camera tomorow so I'll take some pictures if it still looks inflamed.
Thanks so much,
Lisa
