After hearing about the damage from the Tsunami in the Maldive islands I'm wondering if the Aldabra tortoises on the Aldabra atoll are alright. As I recall, I don't think the atoll has much, if any elevation. It is located north of Madagascar and appears to have been in the path of the Tsunami.
If anyone can find out, please let us know.
