Hello,
Does anyone know approximately how long bearded dragons have been bred in captivity in the states? Just wondering. Thanks

Not exactly sure when bearded dragons were started to be bred in captivity. However the ban on exporting animals from Australia has been in effect for more than 40 years. (the law came in effect in the early 1960's). As confiscated specimens were either destroyed or giving to breeders, wildlife rescues etc, 40 years is a good estimate on how long they have been captive bred.
