Males can breed earlier then females. Most males can breed at 18 months (their second winter)with about 3.5 feet in size. females need to mature much more and for the most part 3-4 years of age (sometimes as old as 5) and 5-7 depending on the locality of the boa (some smaller localities will be mature at 3.5 or even smaller, but that is for the smaller Island dwarf forms)
