Harlequin and Pastel comparison shots. *Lots of Pics*

Beautiful day today here in FL.

Here is my 2004 Harlequin born in May and my 2004 Dubay Pastel born in March. They are both awesome normals with similiar but different traits. They both have a nice reduction in black overall and cleanliness. They are also both very high in color.

-The harlequin has a peachy-like coloration that is VERY intense, I find it to be the hardest color to pick up with my camera(s). She has an extreme "hog-like" light/dark phase range of coloration. She gets very very clean at night and significantly darker during the day. Very similiar to one of my Salmon males. I bought her for her color. She was the most intensely colored and biggest in the litter.

-The dubay pastel is overall a shade darker. A much different look. Cleaner in some ways, dirtier in others. Its hard to explain. Her coloration is much more red than peach. It gets more and more intense towards the end of her body. Overall her coloration is not as intense as my harlequin, but very intense nonetheless. The harlequin does after all cost twice as much as the dubay 8).

Here are a few overhead comparison pics:

Ronne line pastels do develop very nice color with age, I believe most pastel lines do.

Here is my 2001 EBV Red Group comparison. First pic is from Gray Rushin of allboas.com

She was born 7-17-2001.
