New to the forum.............Got Mites!!

ginebig Dec 29, 2004 08:28 PM

Hi all, I was given a 3 ft. female? burm the other day. She's got mites. Can't seem to find many on her body, but her eyes are swollen to the point that they resemble an anacondas. What can I use to eliminate these rascals? Thanks in advance for any help.

i would recommend using Pro Products Provent A Mite spray; it is by far the best product on the market for eradicating mites. I believe you can find them at pro-mist.com but you might have to check the dealer section. I would also recommend having a good vet check the snake out as this animal could be suffering from secondary infections/illnesses as a result of the mites. Rob Carmichael

Just another vote in support of Provent-A-Mite spray (from pro-products.com) - it does work, and well. I had to use it once, yes once, and only once. That was a few years ago and it worked amazingly well, and I haven't had a single problem since.
