Vision Cage Model #400 for Boas...

uf_g8or Dec 29, 2004 08:57 PM

Just wondering if anyone has the newer model #400 Vision cage. I usually build my own cages but I am needing a bigger one than usual and I am debating on where to get one and who to get it from. I've looked at AnimalPlastics, Boaphiles, Monstercages, and Visions. I like them all pretty much but I need one fairly quickly...and the only company that can get me one fast is Vision. I've read plenty of comments on all the companies...and I've heard several complaints about Visions...such as sagging or warping. But since this cage is a newer version I was wondering if anyone has it and uses it to house boas. I have a 6 footer that needs the room. And I don't have a ton of money for a cage but I can afford to spend a decent amount.

What's everyone's opinion? Thanks
Any and all suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I bought 4 of them. They definitely sag because of the size and the material is flexible. I put plywood between them and that keeps the floor level. Despite this, they are very useful for boas because of the size. I don't think you could get six foot cages, shipping included, at this price elsewhere.

I have quite a few visions and have had many of them for years.

no complaints.

After 5 years, they can look brand new if you keep average care of them.

very durable.
