It's time for the US to withdrawal from the UN

ByeByeKerry Dec 29, 2004 09:32 PM

As we all know, it is no longer possible for the US to trust the UN with our hard-earned tax dollars. The oil for food scandal is unforgiveable. The fact that Germany, France and Russia opposed the US in our efforts to protect ourselves, because Germany, France, and Russia had seedy ties with Saddam, was unforgiveable. In essence, the UN is an alliance of anti-American countries that want American tax dollars. It's time we give credit where credit's due.

I wouldn't mind seeing an "errant" US missile "accidentally" landing somewhere within the boundaries of one of these rogue countries, just to let them know that we do recognize them for who they are. At a minimum, it's time to put an end to allowing these anti-American countries to make decisions about where American's hard-earned tax dollars end up.

The UN, like the ACLU, started out as a good idea and with good intentions. They both have degenerated into enemies of all Americans. Many of us aren't aware of these facts yet, we ARE slowly waking up though. Give it some time.

... when you go take Israel with you. That would decrease the number of UN resolutions violated by members and the number of UN resolutions against Israel blocked by the U.S.

Maybe this would lead to a more effective work of this organisation in the future.

"when you go take Israel with you. That would decrease the number of UN resolutions violated by members and the number of UN resolutions against Israel blocked by the U.S."

I'm sure that Israel would withdrawal if the US did. Great minds tend to think alike and Israel certainly recognizes the need for a global war on terror, just as we do. Don't worry H & E, if and when the US and Israel withdrawal from the UN, you can make all the meaningless resolutions you want. What difference will it make when the money pool has dried up?

The UN is a disgraceful organization.

The UN is over due to go the way of the Leauge of Nations. There is an evolution in organisations where they may start out for the "Better Good" but eventually become preoccupied with sustaining their own power. The same thing can be said for both the Republican and Democratic parties, churches, Unions etc.

It is a twin edged sword in that we need organisations to run things yet as they say "Power corrupts".

Ultimately the best good could come from scrapping the system in favor of a dierect Democracy (the only method of government where every voice has equal say).

As to Isreal...There is a reality check here that the "War on Terror" is against a foe that vastly outnumbers in population in the USA and Isreal and does not hold to the concept of national boundaries. The best that can be hoped for is to confine the problem to the Moslem nations. Historically Partisans have allways (eventually) succeeded against invading forces. So the idea of establishing a perminent Democracy in a nation with a powerful partisan force is ludicris.

Ultimately if we had to go to Iraq (which I feel we didn't) we should have gone in and beat the hell out of them and Left it. Expect us to be there for a long time trying and (eventually) failing to set up our prefered government.

And if there is any doubt of this look at the fact that the largest portion of the population there does not want or trust our elections that are coming up and have called for their followers to withdraw.

After the initial fight we began wasting our resources and the lives of our troops on a fool's mission.

Sometime you may recognize, that the U.S. are the useful idiot for Israel, and that a lot of your problems are resulting of Israels politics toward it neighbouring countries.

Right now you are doing the dirty work Israel isn't capable of.
As a matter of fact, you should contemplate who is really ruling your country.
