Poopy question...eeewww

jamiesbeardie Dec 29, 2004 10:24 PM

Ok....I just got my picky guy Diesel to eat some greens. now he has runny poop, it almost looks like he's straining to poop. I soaked him this morning, hoping to teach them to trust and love water, and he pooped only mucous some white stuff and a bit of brown. Now I'm worried. Female is doing fine so far. Could it be the change in his diet? I'm in california visiting relatives, and I live in Phoenix, so I can't take him to a herp vet here. I'm leaving in a few days.....help!

oh I read about inducing a fever ...can anyone explain how to do this or if I should even try?

My guess would be the diet change. Even for people if you change your diet your body reacts to it a little strangely for a while, then it goes back to normal.

That's my thinking too...it just helps to hear it from someone else you know? But still going to keep my eye on him....

it could very well be the change in diet.... what kinds of "greens" are you feeding him?
