Awesome little guy!

Nice little boa! What is the history/lineage of that guy?
Grandparents were salmon and anery Nic. The parents were the pics of the litter from that original pairing and they are smokers! The strange thing is they never made it past 5 feet long so they seem to be true dwarf boas. The litter those two animals produced which this guy came from consisted of 7 animals of which 6 were hypos. Some crazy genetics going on there!
Nice! So, were the parents 100% Nics? That little boa is awesome. How many do you have?
who was the original breeder that started this line, as in who did u get the parents from?was it a proven type 2 line? very neat animal ..thanks
The breeder is Richard Wilson...I actually bought this little guy directly from him.
Nice snake!!
By the sound of your surprise at them not surpassing the five foot mark I take it the hypo was NOT a Nicaraguan but of Colombian heritage. The pic looks nice but I'd prefer to see an actual pairing of a Nic hypo and type 2 anery Nics if this isn't indeed what you produced. Then we could look forward to type 2 dwarf Nic ghosts down the road from the double hets produced. I'm not aware if this has been done yet with TRUE locality Nics. Does anyone here know of any projects like this completed or in the works? I hope breeders will not mix Colombian and Nicaraguans as a rule. No offense meant if this is what's been done but I'd like to see pure locality bloodlines stay that way.
Colombian and Nicaraguan morphs have already been crossed, thankfully the breeders usually have enough sense to label them for what they are and not pure.
I was going to get a hypo from this litter, they are 50-50 Nicaraguan and Colombian. Still nice. If you have followed Jeremy's Blizzard project you would know he used a kahl albino to a type II anery nic.
If you want to see a pure Nicaraguan Ghost go to BurkeReptiles.com
They have one, it was wild caught too which is interesting that the traits would combine in the wild. None have been made through captive breeding yet.
Yes, I'm very familiar with Jeremy's project and I'm aware that various crosses have been made (unfortunately). I've seen hypo Nic BCO crosses as well but would like to see captive bred ghosts made from hypo X anery Nics. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to do it myself, nod, nod, wink, wink. It will take a long time though since my future breeding stock are just juvies now.
As many times as I've visited his site I missed that one. The multitude of beautiful animals present there makes me want to spend way to much. Good thing most are sold out LOL.

They are both 100% Nicaraguan boas. Chris Ginkel
