I just bought a younger snake from someone who obviously didn't know how to take care of her. She is way underweight and dehydrated. I was wondering what the best way is to put weight on her fast and to re-hydrate her.

If she is in severe distress, get her to a vet. Otherwise, go down a few posts and read about the gatorade question.
As far as food, get her in an enclosure with the proper temps and allow her to acclimate to her new surroundings. That also means leaving her alone so she does not continue to stress.
Good luck!

I'm not sure fast weight is the answer. From what I understand, it's better to start out with a smaller more nutritional diet and work your way up to the bigger meals. Especially if the animal is way starved. Rats are more nutricious, so start with those. Smaller ones.
