Who knows more about the special specimen of E. Diones?

wim Dec 30, 2004 01:03 PM

Hello (Ivan and Terry) all,

Examples and pictures are welcome.

Now I can not wait anymore to react of course. Indeed we, Gidi (my son) and I, want to make some special Dione breedinggroups. Not only on morph, the bright red, etc… but also on locality. For the most people are the colour variation the most interesting. But, I think that the wide spread localities of this specie had to be preserved, and not mixed all together. Otherwise you will have in a few years in the amateur-herpetologists-collections just Diones, originally from all the localities between from the Far east to the mid of Europe. I also know that there are people who want to mix Korea with China. Only to get special colouration.

I am proud to be the local representative from Tula Exotarium in Holland (and in Europe and, maybe, America too ) Why not all over the world Ivan??? Think big and start small. I think that these specie is very nice to have for many snakeholders. So after a few years when Tula (=Ivan) has repaired their breeding groups and I have more adult females we can spread them around. So Terry you must wait a while. Of course you are very welcome here in Holland. I invited you earlier . If you take some Korea’s I have E.D. Cherskyi’s. That we can trade: the Russian federation with USA, and the “in between” is Amsterdam. The center of the world.

Good luck all of you with the Diones. And have a healthy and successful 2005.

Gidi&Wim.

Wim, congratulations on your new dione and thanks for the offer. What did you mean by Ivan rebuilding his collection? Did something happen? Good luck with your projects in 2005...

Terry
