switching a ball over to ft food...help

Crochuntermyhero May 15, 2003 06:45 PM

i recently aquired a couple ball pythons (baby's) and they are on live food and for the life of me i cannot get them to take frozen thawed food, i am pretty sure i'm doing it right because all my other snakes take ft just fine, i even tried taking a chick's blood and smearing it on the head of a mouse and that didn't work..anyone have any other suggestions??

thanks in advance

all it took for my baby ball was to scent the thawed mouse with soiled gerbal bedding... it only took her 2 weeks after i got her to accept thawed mice..(she also had only been fed live) also i warm the mice under a heating lamp for about 7 minutes... hope this helps!
